William B. Hardie, Jr.

William B. Hardie, Jr., or “Bill” to those who know him, has been mediating full-time in El Paso since 2005.  He has served as the mediator in over 4,500 cases involving business, personal injury and employment disputes.

After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center in 1973, Bill worked as an Assistant District Attorney in El Paso and an Assistant US Attorney for the Western District of Texas before moving to the private sector in 1976, where he worked for 25 years.

In 2005, after seeing a need for more mediators in El Paso, Bill established Hardie Mediation, which operated successfully until the end of 2023 when he officially retired.

Bill has 50 years of trial experience, and was lead trial counsel in over 150 cases that went to verdict. He was selected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates and has been honored on several occasions with the Enrique Peña Mediator of the Year Award by the El Paso Bar Association.

TAMS is honored that Bill Hardie has decided to join the TAMS team of experienced mediators.

Bill is also available for arbitrations. Contact TAMS for availability and fee schedule.
